Founded in November 2005 by David Hendrix, Piedmont ESS (Piedmont
Emergency Services Supply) opened to initially serve the region west of
Charlotte, NC. Since opening, Piedmont ESS has expanded it's coverage
area to include all of North Carolina, and a large portion of South Carolina.
In the past 5.5 years, we have experienced a period of rapid growth. The
initial goal for Piedmont ESS, was to be a source for Fire Fighting
Equipment. Over the past few years we have grown to supply not only the
Firefighting Market but also the Rescue and EMS Market. Originally based
out of David's Residence, Piedmont ESS quickly out grew what could be
done from that location. Piedmont ESS moved to a small office location in
downtown Gastonia, NC, that within a years time became simply to small.
In 2007 Piedmont ESS relocated to a Retail Store Front on Union RD in
Gastonia, to serve as a small location for individuals to purchase on a
walk-in basis, as well as serve as offices for department sales. In 2008 we
realized that we had out grown the retail locationwe were in. As of Nov. 1st,
2009, we moved to our new location, our new location increased the size of
our retail showroom, and more importantly offers a warehousing facility.
Moving to our new location gives us a showroom area of approximately
600Sq/ft, approximately 1000 sq/ft of office area, as well as 3,200 sq/ft of
warehousing capabilities. If you haven"t been to our new location, we invite
you to come by and pay us a visit.
